Debris removal is the cleanup that follows land clearing in Melbourne and across Brevard County. Every clearing job leaves waste on the ground: whole trees, limbs, root balls, rock and rubble. Some of it can stay on the lot. Many times it has to go, and BW Clearing hauls it off.
We can bundle debris removal with our land clearing work or take it on as its own job. Trees pulled during lot clearing come out with their root balls, and we haul those off too. After a hurricane, downed trees and limbs on a lot are part of the same work. We haul debris for homeowners, landowners, farms and businesses.
Tell us about the lot or acreage, the work you need and where it is. We look at the job and put a free quote in writing.
Most of the debris from clearing a lot here is wood. Lots often hold slash pine, cabbage palm, live oak and saw palmetto. When they come down, the trunks and root clumps pile up fast.
Clearing also turns up rock and rubble. The tree puller lifts old fence posts and shrubs out of the ground whole. We load all of it and haul it off the property.
Debris left sitting on a lot causes trouble. A dry brush pile is fuel for a fire, and rotting wood draws insects. Under Brevard County's code, land clearing debris that leaves a site goes to a permitted solid waste facility. The code also says a haul load must be packed so debris cannot drop or blow off.
Some of the waste can stay. With forestry mulching, the disc mulcher grinds standing trees and brush into mulch where they grow. The mulch stays put and covers the ground. That works well along trails and fence lines.
Under a new building, the wood has to go. Florida's residential building code calls for all vegetation, stumps, dead roots and trash to be removed from the foundation area. The rule sits in the code's section on termites. Your builder or the local building department can tell you what your lot needs.
We settle what stays and what goes with you before the machines start. On a big lot, the back acreage can keep its mulch while the house pad gets hauled clean. That plan is part of our site preparation work.
The Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. A storm can drop whole trees and heavy limbs across a yard or a farm road. We handle storm debris removal like clearing debris: we load it and haul it off.
Yard debris removal works the same way for brush piles and fallen limbs. If the ground around a pile is overgrown, we can mow a path to it first.
Call or text (904) 719-0443 once the storm has passed. Tell us what came down and where it landed on the property.
Call or text for a written quote. We work about 150 miles around Melbourne, across the Space Coast and Treasure Coast and north to Daytona Beach.

We come out to see the growth and how the machines can reach it. Then we put your free quote in writing.
We settle the plan for your lot, and we walk you through which permits apply to it. Florida law calls for a Sunshine 811 notice at least 2 full business days before digging starts.
The disc mulcher and the brush mower take the growth down. The tree puller lifts trees and stumps out of the ground, roots and all. An excavator comes in for ponds and lot leveling.
We haul the debris off or leave the mulch on the ground, whichever you chose. You get back a smooth lot, ready for the build or the pasture.
